In
the modern world we can sometimes feel dislocated. When
we have been born in a country which was not our own,
or our family is from a different heritage, we sense
our need to return to the land of our fore-fathers or
discover our ancestral heritage. We can restore a sense
of self that we thought we had lost or never knew we
had.
This is a workshop to celebrate, inspire and heal through
the discovery of the parallels between our own life
and the lives of our ancestors. Seemingly irrational
fears, psychological and even physical difficulties
have their roots in our family heritage.
Our ancestors are also our most intimate connection
with the spirit world. The belief that we have an invisible
connection with them is worldwide. In fact the subject
of communications with deceased family members and ancient
ancestral spirits has been documented in spiritual and
religious teachings in both ancient manuscripts and
by modern spiritual teachers.
It is often when our grandparents or our parents die
that it occurs to us to consider life after death and
our need to continue to have a relationship with them.
We do this in our thoughts, dreams and memories. Our
connection with them does not stop when they die –
instinctively we call out to them when we want help
or advice and need to feel their presence around them.
You don’t have to be a psychic, medium or clairvoyant
to communicate with deceased relatives and ancestral
spirits. Many people have had incredible encounters
of seeing their loved ones both in dreams and as apparitions.
Others talk of receiving symbols, such as a sweet smell
of flowers or by a ‘coincidental encounter’
that has the personality of the deceased written all
over it.
During our Sacred Healers Retreats in the UK, USA and
SA, we will usually introduce our clients to their spiritual
journey through an ancestor workshop. It is often only
when we address the affect of our ancestry on our health,
psychological and emotional makeup that we can change
the way we perceive the world.

The spring is celebrated throughout the world and in
ancient Britain it was celebrated as Ostara –
spring equinox. It focuses on the balance of light and
dark. Ostara like the Easter holidays represent the
power of new beginnings.
This is a workshop to encourage people to understand
their own nature using simple techniques of visualisation,
rituals and focusing on life issues using art, cards
readings and spirit communication.
The one day programme will include guided meditations
to encourage a communication with the higher self and
ulitising the power of the mother earth and the goddesses
that represent nature. Natural spiritual medicine encourages
people to the path of earth consciousness, and to ‘see’
the spirit in all things; in plants, crystals, trees,
animals and in ourselves.
The programme will include: guided meditations, focusing
on life issues that they want to change or grow, making
a mandala to represent the spring and wishing for new
beginnings for themselves and their families, healing
with crystals.
